Tesla Powerwall

The Tesla Powerwall is a rechargeable energy storage battery. It can help you get more out of your rooftop solar panel system by storing energy, and making it available on demand. The Tesla Powerwall can be used to supply your home with electricity during the night, or during power outages. As such, the excess energy generated by your Shoalhaven Solar rooftop solar panel system can be used to generate electricity around the clock, rather than paying for extra electricity from the grid.

Each Tesla Powerwall is comprised of at least one battery, and a backup gateway. This backup gateway manages the energy and controls the connection to the grid. You may connect up to 10 Tesla Powerwalls to the backup gateway.
